If you have a smartphone, you can pull it up and they can scan it. Or just pull it up on your laptop screen (if you have laptop) and bring it in to get scanned.

you can recycle non oem cartridges at staples?
I always just stick 20 carts into a bag and he asks how many. I've never had a cashier even open the bag to confirm the quantity or brand

I recycle non-oem carts all the time. I regularly pay $1.35 or so and get back $2. I never actually did it for pure profit, but I bet some may.
It just worked for me.. They did not have it in store, but csr offered to ship to store or home for free. I chose delivery to home and Manager had to enter the price match and the coupon. No problems. I also used my rewards, bringing price down to mere pennies out of pocket. I wish I was able to someday get the premier status so I can recycle 20 carts a month. Thanks and repped OP.

People who recycle for pure profit likely buy carts at $.20 from ebay

Worked here in Cleveland as well, one associate wanted to claim that they couldn't match the price online because it was a holiday special. Manager overrode it. 50 + tax, kablammo.

I'm assuming no one is mentioning the coupon until after the price match is done? I know a manager override will be needed for the PM.

PM + Coupon has always been YMMV for me at least.

Ymmv at my store, manager didn't care as long as the system would take it even after pm.

I bought 500+ of them on ebay a while ago for $40 or so. Pays off in one month when I recycle 20 cartridges.

Hey guys, just walked out of my local Staples in socal with one. They had TWO SHELVES full of them, I was surprised since many in the thread were reporting 1-2 max.

Anyways, for those of you who aren't sure how to do this deal successfully, let me give you my 1000000% flawless method, that works even with the manager there. I just bring the coupon on my phone and just scroll to the part where it says the coupon code (the one the cashier enters) and nothing else. First, I have them price match the item, then after that when it's time to pay I always say that I have a rewards coupon code to use. They will never question it, and will not know that you are double dipping. Just make sure you tell them it's some sort of rewards coupon you got via e-mail and READ IT OUT TO THEM! DO NOT HAND OVER YOUR PHONE! They'll usually just think you earned points purchasing with them.

Good luck!
