"Free after rewards" is not at all free. Since you're forced to buy more goods it's 50% discount with 2x original purchase price min and max. The out is if you can cash rewards with rebates or whatever, which isn't the case for most people.

https://www.staplesrewardscenter....Login.aspx. You can see it in a matter of days if your purchases are qualified for rewards. I made a the 5 ream purchase on the 21st and when I checked it today my rewards are there. So there, HTH.

I purchased this last week .
After rebate it's $4.99 . Price match?

I've done this deal 2 weeks in a row and got rewards both times. I'm going to wait until the end of the week to do it again so it posts for March, since my reward check for February is getting quite large because of it.

For me, FAR is as good as free, since I monitize my rewards. Staples makes that whole process so quick and painless.

How isn't it the case for most people? Everyone with a rewards account can use rewards dollars to buy cash rebate products. Sometimes, it can be difficult to cash out 100% of your rewards, but I have yet to run into a problem there. But that situation is a minority. Most people can (and do) turn their rewards into cash down the line. And get free, or extremely discounted, products in the process.
