Thanks for posting this. I grabbed one for the laptop I bought yesterday because I can't go back to booting from a mechanical HDD. This worked better for me than the B&H deal since I could get 2 day shipping via ShopRunner.

The base price is only $6 more on Amazon but I get charged tax on Amazon so it really is more like $16 more. Macmall doesn't charge me tax and I can still get 2 day shipping which seems pretty slick. On top of that, I believe the price on Amazon has come down because of people reporting the lower price on Macmall and B&H.

Yeah, it definitely came down due to this. Newegg is still $188 or something.

It's all relative. Yeah the weather is great in cali, so is the food, and other subjective stuff. Honestly though, the cost of living is ridiculous, I don't see myself retiring here, it's just too expensive.

Having lived in upstate NY for a few years, I'll say I'll be avoiding any states with snow though. Digging my car out of snow and warming my car up for 30mins during the winter sucked and I will never go through that again.

As for TN, they just don't know any better j/k
