This does NOT come with the glasses, you have to buy them separately. Saw that someone may have implied that it does.
ST50 does not only have the advantage of a the glare filter and better blacks, but you also get the pro color settings unlocked which allows you to tweak the settings to match some of the sets that were calibrated by pros. If you think you want a 55 or 60, get the 55 or 60. Trust me, I had to take the 50 back and Sears will want to charge you to restock it. The 55 is much bigger than the 50. If you are coming off a 42, do not even consider the 50, you wont be happy. |

.Always go bigger! 50-60 inch TVs to seem as big as they once we years ago when they less common. In my eyes, if you want to help combat glare and it's absolutely essential, then ST50 is what you gotta go for. That is the big difference between the two. Picture quality is only slightly better on the ST50. They are very close when watching in a darkened room. ST50 also has one more HDMI port and I think WiFi, but that shouldn't even be a deciding factor when there are adapters available for the UT50. Also, some of you need to do your damn search. UT50 has pro calibration settings too (through the service menu): http://www.avsforum.co Everything I've said in this thread is not anything new and all of this information is on the web: UT50: http://reviews.cnet.co VS ST50: http://reviews.cnet.co Last edited by mD-; 02-24-2013 at 10:20 AM.. |

second its almost $150 more than Costco. Third Costco comes with peace of mind extra one year warranty and easy return policy. So you think I should still go for ST. As far as picture quality is concern, I guess UT and ST having same panel and picture quality per reviews. |

UT and ST do not have the same panel. The panel on the ST is one of the key differences. |
