I will give this a try.
We use Nutella quit a bit never tried the knockoff stuff b4. For a $1 why not |

Have tried a couple generics...Kroger (couple of years ago) was nasty. Aldi's is really good and I still get it when available. Just my opinion. For a buck, I would definitely give Big Lots brand a try.

I'd go for the chocolate peanut butter, Peanut Butter & Co. Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate Dreams. Stuff is awesome.

Nutella sold in US market is NOT the same as those sold in Europe. (I think the one sold in USA is manufactured in Canada and has too much of a sugar taste)
Those who tried Nutella in both places can tell the difference. |

It seemed like every time we stayed at a B&B(especially France) Breakfast was very hard French bread and Nutella. That was 20 years ago and to tell the truth I don't remember what it tasted like. And yes the USA version is made in the great white north. |

big lots is awesome for trying out interesting european packaged foods.
kippers, sausages... odd chocolates... After seven years of SD, I've come to conclude that Slickdealers are protein-powder guzzling, pistol packing, cheap-ass video game nerds.
