Can someone answer why the 26PC pro set was normally 174 but the 82 piece set is cheaper? and comes with an extra ratchet? i'm looking to get a nice set as i'm going to be a newly wed, and cant keep borrowing tools from my father. whats the difference in price?

Serious question.... I have a large Craftsman set that I bought 5+ years ago and I have gotten a lot of use out of it... But what makes these sets "Professional"? I'm pretty much looking for an excuse to buy some of these, but I already have them all in that large set, but not "professional"... are they just made in USA and oil forged instead of water? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Might pick up a set. I've got a set I've been using a LONG time but now the blow molded case is starting to fall apart. Not fun having all the sockets spill out. |
