I did see a youtube video from a girl who had ordered it from the HP academy and hers had all of the normal stuff.

this is a great deal for this model, and they only build one primary version, there is no scared down version without a f&cking webcam in the front, christ. how stupid is everyone in this thread?

This is a full Windows 8 tablet, which comes with a keyboard dock so you can use it as a netbook as well.

Compare this to ANY other Windows 8 tablet with keyboard dock and the price is great.

Acer W510, Microsoft Surface (this would be inbetween Surface and Surface Pro), Samsung ATIV, they are all spec'd similiary for higher price.

This does have a memory card slot as well for additional expansion.

The weight is the same on both which would imply the battery is in the keyboard regardless, although the NR model shows the battery life w/ and w/o the keyboard. The 000 model also shows that there is an 8mp back camera but its only listed on the front page and not on the specs.

If the guy called, I am going to believe him. HP customer service is dumb so I would blame it on them too. I am pretty sure that there is no scaled down version either, but its still a good thing to notice just incase. I did order one, so worst case... I just return it within the 21 days for a full refund.

I interpreted it like this. The 000 model was the base that allowed you to customize. The 011nr was the quick ship model that was in stock. NR designation means that its no-region, meaning that its not region specific. Either way, mine ships on march 6th, so looks like this is something I will be biting my nails about for a few weeks.

You're exactly right with the 000, when your CTO on HP's website the part number is different except the only thing you can change is the SSD really. Also, what size SD card can this accept? SDXC?

Meh I think I'll just get a 200-250 dollar tablet and then a desktop for more trying tasks. Best of both world

The model numbers are different for a reason. If its the same model then yes its a great deal. Worse case flip it on amazon then

jesus christ man, when you order something from HP/Dell/Lenovo they have two methods of ordering, either "pre-built" which gets a specific model number as that's on the shelf ready to go, or a CTO, which will be a very similiar model number but more generic as it's a custom order every time. That's why the model numbers are different...

It has nothing to do with this tablet in itself, you can't remove standard features, the only option is either 64GB or 128GB SSD.

To clarify a few things:

The tablet has a micro-SD slot.
The keyboard dock has a battery and a full sized SD slot.

Question to ask is this, why is the HP 569 total and everyone else 800 bucks?
Another question also is if this is such a great deal why does it only have a rating of 1 Star
