Yes it will, it just downspeeds it to SATA II, but if you are only using SATA II, why not save another $10 and get the V200 for $79.99, I am considering it, bc in real-life it actually beats the V300 in usage.

You're gonna be hardpressed to find a 256 gb of acceptable quality for 110. Every once in a while you might find an ocz for that price, but buying that says you couldn't give two shits about your data. I used a similar coupon for on my kinstington a few months ago and i thi;nk i payed around 58 cents a gigbyte which isnt a bad deal by any means. But if you find your 43 cent drive, i implore you to tell me first, before you post it. Cause that would should straight to front page within minutes. before i could jump on it myself

nowhere on the coupon does it say it can't be used on SSD, or any HD's or even Flash Drvies.

Slighty, yes. But as mentioned earlier in this thread, it's YMMV. Someone did manage to get it to work though, and OP said he would try tomorrow.

Yeah they are supposed to accept it because its a competitor's coupon, and there is nothing on the exclusion list that says you cannot use it on SSD. Hopefully it works!

It depends how anal they want to be because I believe they do have "storage" listed as an exclusion. Also, it may be considered YMMV because not every Staples stocks SSDs. I would even go as far to say that even most stores don't have them. I still appreciate this posting and is much better than posting a vague thread saying "Here's a coupon, now find a deal yourself!"

Nice deal. Staples here had it in stock but at 119.99. The asst mgr matched the online price and applied the coupon. Came out exactly as the receipt shown in OP including tax. Nothing was at the asst mgr's discretion; he simply checked the price online then entered the coupon numbers (for bag and item) to check whether the system would take it. It did no problem.

Was getting ready to purchase the 60gb version (without kit) on amazon for 69.99 but then thought I better check SD! Thank you!

No go for 2 stores near me.

1 store has 2, and 1 store has one. Both said it's technology item and is excluded. I even asked to speak to the manager and got turned down.

So it is highly YMMV.
