Although it says that, there is extensive history of staples accepting competitor coupons almost everywhere. However, that is an area where it will depend on the managers mood that particular day.

Thanks to OP and first poster of the 30% coupon. Went to my local staples and picked one up with no hassle and the 30% OD coupon. Apparently the cashier was too concerned with the fine print to read the "30% off regular priced items" LOL!

Oh wow, after googling, I found out I did install it wrong. I thought I was suppose to insert the SSD into each bracket's spacing between the two metal walls. Instead it should have been installed outside the frame. Doh! Didn't help that the SSD didn't come with instructions for that but it did have one for applying the adhesive for 9.5mm bays.

I too busted out the OD 30% coupon and Staples didn't even blink an eye...in fact...it was so ghetto...they didnt require any coupon code, number..they didn't even look at it. The woman had to do the percent off in dollars on a separate calculator. She was really nice...but cmon Staples....get with it! Either way...it was $67.96 with tax.

Not scorching hot...but hot enough to compel me to purchase one.
