Damn all of the Oscar nominations... typically this movie would've come out first-week as $16.99 or so just like any other film--but since it has been favored for several Oscars, it'll come out at $23 cheapest anywhere (even Target & Walmart had it $23 first-week).

Can't wait until Life of Pi or Les Miserables comes out at $25 :\

I don't think it's boring. It's sort of a real story Mission Impossible film. It might be predictable but there isn't much anyone can do about it because you already knew what happened. You're right about it being political and the reason Argo won. But then again Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty were also political. You're not left with many choices. Last year's Les Miserables isn't considered the best of all Les Miserables made. Without Argo the best Picture would have gone to either Lincoln or Life of Pi. But Hollywood wanted to give itself the credit for solving real problem without bullets. I also predicted Argo would win. But is it a movie I'd spent $23 watching again? No. Maybe $10 I would.

The only movie I'd purchase is Silver Lining Playbook because of Jennifer Lawrence.

I'm disappointed Wreck-it Ralph didn't win anything. For me Wreck-it Ralph was much better animated film than Brave. I'm looking forward to buying Wreck-it Ralph 3D next week. I might also buy Life of Pi 3D depending on review of 3D effects on Blu-ray.

I know right. Wreck it Ralph is way better than Brave. Brave is a big disappointment for a Pixar movie
