Yeah, the 90 day warranty kills the deal. It would be awesome if it were an Apple refurb.
Technically it is more than just 90 days since apple will support it for the full one year warranty based on serial number. So you at least have until September. I still wouldn't go with this deal, however, as I already have a 3rd gen. Not enough difference to warrant the switch.
yes i do- you dont know what YOU are talking about
Apple doesn't work the same way as other companies. Warranties are always attached to the serial number and to the original purchase date. Refurbished doesn't mean anything. All Woot did is slap the title Refurbished on it to make it sound better. There's nothing to refurbish. You think they swapped it out for a new case and exterior glass like Apple does? I will say it again: you don't know what you are talking about.
If you tell them you bought it auction/refurbished then yes but if u took it to an Apple Store and they look up the serial, it would come up normal and it'd be under warranty
Basically. What it boils down to is this: as long as nothing was done to void the warranty (water sensor change, clear evidence of opening the ipad up) then this is covered according to the original purchase date under Apple's warranty.
No you don't- Apple does not repair stuff that has been visibly refurb, eg opened
So you MAY have a longer warranty....
You said that you DEFINITELY will have a longer warranty than 90 days
its a crappy deal anyway
Woot is not going to open up any ipads. If you think that, then you again don't know what you're talking about.
This product was released in September. Apple always has a one year warranty. So you at least have a few more months than 90 days. Again, you have no idea what you're talking about.

Cool- you know these havent been warranty voided. Thanks for letting all SDers in on the inside info. I suppose you will be giving your personal word on this to all SDers...so we can buy safely
Dude its simple- its like buying from Cowboom, you MAY have a longer warranty than they say (ie more than 90 days in this case). You cant say for certain, neither can anyone else
I can and will say for certain that the warranty is valid for more than 90 days based on the product release date. Cowboom is the same. They are not opening up these devices. You are clueless as to how these things work.
