I can't comment on the multitool or the screwdriver but I have the m12 drill and the power / battery life are great. I had been driving screws with an old Ryobi 1V8V cordless when it died mid-project. After switching to the m12 driver, it was a whole new experience. Screws slid in easily when they were previously a struggle with the Ryobi. I'd definitely recommend the m12.

I have craftman 12V multitool from menards deal ($10) last month. 12V seems enough power for light work duty like cutting ceiling drywall to install fans. It's a multi purpose tool. Good investment for DIY project.

I absolutely fail to see how that could "kill" self-checkout for everyone. HD is already invested in the hardware--they're not going to take out those self-checkout lanes. They're not going to close them down just because people are only using them to check prices--if anything, that should be an indication that they should add price-checking stations, like Wal-Mart!

Without those self-checkout areas, people would be forced to flag down floorwalkers to check the prices--or waste time in regular checkout lanes. I asked someone in the hardware department to check the price on an m12 tool (right-angle drill), and he went right up to self-checkout and confirmed the price! He told me the process was easier than looking it up on his scanner.

I tested the the muti tool yesterday and has enough power to cut through 2x4 with ease. Battery is great on my impact drill, not sure how long on the multi tool since in use more power. I got 3 batteries and it charges really fast, so I'm not worried about running out of juice .

This also comes with a nice little Milwaukee carry case. I tested out the multi-tool last night and it has plenty of power for it's size and only 12V. I wouldn't use it for medium or larger jobs, but it's a great handy tool. I already had the driver and I love it. I do a bunch of volunteer jobs and I use to get joked about with my little red toy (the driver), but now everyone asks to use it. I also have the big Dewalt 18V tools, but I only use those for the heavy lifting now.

Yup seriously! Just did it with the included attachment. Not that you would use it as a go to tool on heavy work, just saying about the power.

Just picked one up in Hillsboro, Oregon. They had at LEAST 2 more available. The $79 price seems to be the new "regular" price for the bare multi-tool, but I'm not sure how much longer it will include the driver. Awesome price for both, though. You can tell these are really high-quality tools. And they come with a great bag.

This is a great deal, its supposed to be just the bare tool no battery and no free drill. Build quality is excellent. 8 left in stock in victor ny.

The kit was not available at my local stores, however, I did get one of the stores to give me the following deal for $79 :

1 Milwaukee M12 Hammer Drill Driver Bare without any battery or charger (2411-20)

Is the Hammer Drill Driver better than the screwdriver (2401-20)? Please advise...
