Dude, my sentiments also after have owning both 360 & PS3. Add to that the advertisements that are pushed to your 360 when you turn it on in every category (games, video, music) that cannot be turned off.

I'm not hating though Windows. I was talking to a high level financial stocks tech programmer last night and he is all about windows not because he's a fanboy but because of the integration and ecosystem that M$ now has that he is enveloped in. He likes Window 8 RT on his tablet, has the flagship Nokia Windows phone, and 360. He uses Microsoft Office fully.

But, he is a business guy, and I'm a home user and graphics guy. I fell on a Apple Mac Pro 2 years ago for work and never got up. One thing to the next and I use Macs and Playstation 3. I also do not have internet at home an average of 8 months out of the year, which makes an 360 almost pointless to own except for exclusive titles. It can't play Blurays, photos, videos, music.

People don't understand before they purchase a console how the 2 differ. I probably don't fully appreciate what the Xbox can do because I'm simply ignorant on it.
On the PS3 you CAN use a thumb drive or USB card reader and load up all your camera pictures, ripped CDs, and ripped DVDs.
Instead of fumbling with DVDs for my kids, I ripped them all and have them on the PS3 hard drive. I can having a movie (with no DVD commercials and FBI warnings) going in less than 1 minute.

I love BF3, but if the PS4 doesn't work some pixie dust over BF3 so it looks like it's being played on a high-end PC like all the youtube vids I drool over, what is the point in playing it on PS4? I'd just keep my superslim PS3.

I'd further my point by, if the PS4 doesn't enhance the graphics for BF3, then it ALSO won't utilize other new features available on the PS4 (except maybe game pausing sleep state).
Right?

On another note. I'm wildly speculating that UNLIKE what they did for the PS2, they may, just may take a note from Apple methodology and the PS3 will just happen to be out of stock and unavailable everywhere. That is my gamble, you heard it from me first. Cravit8 out.

Let me start off by saying that I am no fanboy of any system (or anything for that matter) but this is exactly the way I feel. I own all 3 systems as well and initially LOVED the 360 but, over time, have grown tired of it and all of it's "features" that have to be purchased (in the form of a Live Gold subscription). I used to purchase 95% of my games for it, Now my PS3 sees 100% of my console game purchases. TBH, a friend of mine borrowed my 360 over 6 months ago and I haven't missed it yet. I love the clean layout of the PS3 dashboard whereas, over time, the 360 dashboard has become so flooded with ads that it is nauseating.

Got my PS3 in today. Looks great. Going to unbox it and try it out when I get home from work.

Newegg has a large warehouse in Memphis tn. (big fedex hub there too) I live about an hour south.. soo yeah my newegg stuff usually comes that day or next day depending on when i order it XD
