 Does Yahoo purposely enable spam? I seem to get a lot of spam from Yahoo.com, so it occurred to me that Yahoo is doing a crappy job of preventing users from using their service for spamming. Could they not do a better job, if they wanted to? Why don't they? |

Seems like a company's policy is far more political than the features of a product.
Unless you consider email to be Yahoo's product and its features to not be the result of Yahoo's policy. |

This should be in tech support. I now get less spam in my inbox under yahoo than in gmail. For starters, use the unsubscribe, it actually works most of the time!

They have to be enabling that by not taking measures to block it, right? I don't really care about spam coming to my yahoo email, cause that's what I use that for.

I find Yahoo's email cumbersome and slow. OTOH, I've been using Chrome for 4-5yrs now. I receive emails quicker & less spam with gmail, but I always uncheck options for the various options offered. FWIW, I have a yahoo acct with 2,500 emails that I delete once every couple of months.
