I am looking for a great deal on headphones to connect to my AMP when playing my electric guitar. I saw some Sennheiser HD4x8 on the front page for ~$33 but I read from my research I can get much better headphones for about $20 more. I looked into Audio Technica ATH-M35 and ATH-M30 and they both have a store called DATAVISION that sells the ATH-M35 ( http://reviews.cnet.com/headphone...lineStores ) for $55 shipped and the ATH-M30 ( http://reviews.cnet.com/headphone...lineStores ) for $64 shipped.
My goal is to spend $60 shipped at most for a nice pair of headphones in the price range. I am new to headphones so I am not set on just the headphones listed above. Base is not too important but if it had Bass that definitely would be a plus so I can use these to listen to my electronic music also. I am definitely open to recommendations from people with more experience on headphones. I also did some research and some headphones had a 3.5mm jack which I would need to add an adapter to, to use on my AMP. I hear mixed reviews on adapters saying they may reduce sound quality and cause some static etc. Is this true?
Sorry for the long post, but thanks for looking and hopefully someone can help me find a great deal. If I had my own place without roommates I'd just rock out without no headphones
