Looks like they are requiring it when I tried to login into the app using my current PP account for which I have not given my SS#. I think I will pass and might get square reader one though not sure they require it too or not?

You cannot put them in the same envelope, they each have to have their own rebate form completed and rebate receipt attached.

I just completed these earlier this year, and checked the status of mine on staples mail-in rebate tracker and it listed both submissions, however it declined one… (???) After further investigation, and calling them, I found they combined the rebates in their system into one submission for a total of $70 instead one for $50 and one for $20. I'm not sure why, but that's what they did.

I'm shockedthat they're only asking for the register generated rebate form and no UPC or copy of the receipt. Maybe it's because I'm so accustomed to easyrebates, or including a copy of the receipt for mail-in rebates.

For those that already did this rebate, did you only send in the rebate receipt printed by the register (without a copy of the receipt). I was inclined to use the form on the easyrebates site and include a receipt, simply because its difficult to copy the form printed by the register, but if they only want the ptinted form, I can do that too

People have done and gotten the rebate validated by 1) only sending the rebate redemption form from the register, 2) the rebate redemption form and the rebate receipt, and 3) Form from easy rebates and rebate receipt. I did 3) and rebate is validated. No UPC required. You don't even need to open the box.

I got mine from Newegg last time. and yea, you get your form, and you submit whatever requires - UPC code, and some other stuff. I assume.
But at the end of the day - well, maybe say 2 months later, you might noticed status as "declined" from your rebate tracking link. Then you call in, and told that your copy of software wasn't activated, meaning not installed and registered on a computer.
HOWEVER, CSR usually would allow you install your copy of Total Defense and then approve your request, but within 3 months of your submission, I think. I just missed that window, since I've dealing with over 200 rebates and I never thought 4myrebate.com would give me any shit...

Just watch out, it's not a vendor issue, I think, it's the crappy rebate term issue from TotalDefense.

That would be a no. If you read the FORM version it says one rebate per envelope. I bought in 2 separate transactions and sent in separate envelopes.

Staples is different. Those that have already done the rebate from Staples had no such issues.

It's a MIR. Just go to stapleseasyrebates.com and do a product keyword search for "total" to bring up the rebates. Staples puts MIRs and SERs on the rebate site.
