only use those if you are going to pick up at store... their shipping is a joke
bought a battery, 2 weeks to be even shipped. 3 days to arrive... cracked on one corner. send it back. 1 week for them to confess they had received (tracking said 2 days) several weeks to get credit back on my card. almost called master card on them. worst service i've ever seen ALSO (more important here) 100% of their prices are 20% to 30% over market prices to begin with (that's why they have 30% to 50% coupons at retailmenot.com all year around) |

If the rotors are perfectly flat, then putting new pads on may be ok. But for the most part, new rotors are cheap and you might as well replace them every time you do pads. |

Anybody know if you can stack these codes with that first time referal code?

For the person asking about pads and rotors... Some rotors nowadays are not designed to be turned, and they are very thin with a narrow range of useful life. So if you need rotors you pretty much have to replace them, but good rotors can be had for cheap if you do careful shopping. Even when rotors can be turned, I find it best to not turn them unless they're very rough. I know a lot of people don't agree with this, but I and my brother have done it both ways (driving since the 70's, numerous cars, and 100's of thousands of miles), and found the only thing that turning the rotor got for us were thinner rotors with less life left in them. They did not brake any better or help with wear on the new pads, which are the typical reasons given for turning rotors when replacing pads. But if you have badly scored or warped rotors then you have no choice, and in which case it's best to just replace them because turning them for these issues takes a lot of life out of them and you then will soon be buying new anyways. You're right about the ability to get good rotors at decent prices, if you shop around. If you're not desperate to get the parts and have time to shop around, you can score some great deals in rotors and pads and hold them until you need them. (which leads me back to my comment about rockauto.com or autopartswarehouse.com) So Long.... and Thanks for All the Fish!
