The 20% off code is good for buying small items, when that's all you need. However, please consider that if you pad the order with other things you can use (air filters, oil filters, etc) to $30, you can use the $10 off $30 code, bringing your total down to $20. If that sounds good to you, you can do a return and re-order what you need, plus the padding. (or cancel the order and re-place it, if you haven't picked it up yet).

You can always do a return and repurchase. If you have a smart phone, you can take the battery out of your car in the parking lot, return it, then re-purchase it from your smart phone using the code and pick it back up. If you give the employees the heads up that you are doing this (after they give you the credit), they can keep the battery at the counter and give you the same one back. Let us know if you try it and if so, how it works out.

No need actually--I used the $40 off $100 coupon that mr rebates listed when I clicked through--which in retrospect was the coupon I'd have used anyhow. Still, no idea why I didn't think to check SD before this purchase

I personally think a lot more than 500 people are allowed to use it, though.
