This Typo also appears on the actual form you submit after doing the online registration as well.

In the email they posted a link in order to "resubmit" my paperwork... BUT the link leads nowhere because the form, offer, and all details of this rebate deal have been DELETED from TT's Rebate submission website (WTF!)

Search TRM-11818 and nothing shows up. Look by date to find the 2-6-13 deal and hey its missing...

Anyways just a heads up incase anyone else got this deal

NewEgg definitely is too promiscuous with these rebates...it seems to me that rebates are a very common con game among manufacturers. They rely upon people forgetting about the rebate or not bothering with the follow-up.

I think rebates should be either instant or not at all. Just ban them if the amount will not be applied at check-out. Stop all the confusion and discontentment.

Totally. I would say it was a mistake but the fact that they yanked the rebate info from their site is crazy. I'm sure it was yanked a little while ago which means someone still in the submission time frame window trying to register their rebate wouldn't be able to.

MIR in general are designed to screw you over. I took photos of everything, scans and Screen shots of submission pages and documents and video tapes myself sealing and mailing the forms. I'm sure ill get the rebate cause neweggs legal dept contacted me minutes after I forwarded the message with attachments. But this is crazy.
