The British soldiers in WWII seemed to like their desert boots just fine. The Clarks version is based on the ones that became popular among the British troops in Egypt.

Did you notice a price these were on clearance for? DSW.com has them for $80, but I am hoping they are less in-store.

This thread makes me wish I had picked up some Clarks grey suede deserts for $45 at my local Marshall's years back.. when I went back later that week, they were gone

So can anyone confirm that B (M) stands for B width (mens)?
I'm a size 12, so 11.5 would be great, but I'm seeing that it's only available in 11.5 B(M). Can anyone decrypt this for me?

The ladyfriend just gave me a pair for xmas and I agree, seeing them right out of the box, I thought they looked hideous, with a pair of jeans on however they actually look pretty good though.

I'm an 11.5 and haven't noticed any size difference. I haven't actually worn them out yet though so thats just the feeling I had when I tried them on. I'll be checking tonight to make sure that size fits correctly.
