Hey guys/gals, I am completely new to DSLR. I appreciate the book someone linked before about understanding exposure and I have read about a quarter of it so far. Its pretty basic and actually helpful. I also saw people posting youtube videos on our new toy. One video was actually a 4 hour course on the whole camera but it stopped after first 20 minutes and linked to website to purchase the course, so forget that one. However, I found this guy's channel and he has like 8 videos dedicated to the D3100 alone. here is a link to his channel and I will also post in the wiki. I recommend going through the basic videos first (3 of them).
