Yeah. I bought mw3 a couple of weeks ago and just went back to my favorite BF3. It was fun, but BF3 has it all, jets, heli's, tanks, etc and at least some people actually play the game as a team.
Both games still need to reward team based players more, and adjust the point system for each game mode.
In fact, there should be no player that gets higher points on the losing team, than the winning team. That would give incentive to PLAY TO WIN.
I love battling over positions, I'm on some teams where our team gets all the positions, and the other team doesn't even once try to go for it, like "going for a, or going for b, etc." , it's silent, all the guys are in the hills with their scopes. It's frustrating, you need to have both teams trying to "win" to make the game interesting. When one team doesn't even try, it's frustrating even for the winning team.
These games could be great if they adjusted the point system. Imagine playing on a team with 6 guys trying to win the GAME. It would be nice experience.
I may pick up this game, and my hopes aren't too high.

p.s. It isn't people's fault for not trying to win the obective games, it's the developers fault, they are the ones making it more REWARDING to not play the game to win. All the guys not playing to win, get top spots and get the kill streak points, and the poor guy trying to hold the positions gets crap, and you are easy target for the snipers, because they know the "real" players are gonna be at position A,B or C. Easy kills.
Is it that game developers did research and found hardly anyone is interested in going for the bases, only the suckers, that is what gives the rambo's the high kill ratio's on those maps. Who knows, but it sure is frustrating.
