It won't be.

None of the psn digital downloads will automatically work with ps4.

Sony is working on "streaming" games, which could possibly allow you to stream the games you've already bought without having to pay any extra, but there has been no word on when that service will be available or how many games will be streamable.

But as far as just buying a ps4 and being able to download the stuff that you've already bought, NO you will not be able to. Sony already came out and said so.

So be careful about how much stuff you buy

That's actually what i am thinking of doing too, so it would be nice to know for sure, but it sounds like any purchase through psn will work

I'm a bit leery of the bonus PS+ extension considering they announced the PS4 just this week.

My thought is that either This will turn out to be super sweet (Sony has been known to be the more generous of the three console makers in the online arena, it seems), or I'm gonna regret making that long of a PS+ commitment... Guess I have until 3/4 to decide if I wanna take this gamble. I mean, they certainly didn't HAVE to let me have PS+ on my Vita with free downloadable a, but they did.

I don't think there is anything to worry about.

Ps3 games (including digital downloads) will not work on the ps4, but there is no reason to think that the ps4 won't have ps+ quickly.

So the games that you dowload NOW will not be compatible with ps4, but the games they release on PSN for the ps4 will work on the ps4 (obviously).

So all that will happen is that part of your membership will help you with ps3, and then after ps4 comes out it will help you with ps4 (after a while, i doubt they give free ps4 games out right away).

Sony is not going to screw its customers out of money by saying, "Sorry, we don't have ps+ anymore so you're out of luck".

PS+ will be around for ps4, it just that ps3 will only be compatible with ps3, and ps4 will only be compatible with ps4

Better gas prices in Europe? Gas is way more expensive on average in Europe. As in twice as expensive or more in some cities.

Regarding the deal, I'll probably get another 15 months of PS+ even though I'm good through December 2015 from the $40 deal a couple weeks ago.

What happens if buy 5 things for $9.99 that's $49.95 hopefully will qualify

I got $60 worth of playstation network cards from best buy facebook polls over last month.

I should have waited in buying black ops II season pass.

I wish I would have gotten in on the $15 for 1 year ps+ deal at target last year.

Why is everyone acting like the minute the PS4 comes out, they are going to throw their PS3 in the trash? I'm keeping my 3 around for years if I can't play all my stuff on the 4.

Amen! News flash...the PS3 doesn't cease to operate on PS4 launch!!

May be I'm missing something, but I just don't see the value in having PSN+
