Samsung 60" plasma PN60E8000 $1541 (+tax for some) @ amazon

Good deal. Had I not just purchased a PN64E7000 for $1600 (no tablet), I would seriously consider this.

anybody know how long the tablet promotion is going for? I'm thinking about doing this, but probably can't until next Thursday...

Went for it. Great deal for the top of the line model, even with tax. Hopefully i don't get one that buzzes.

Good price, but some of the reviews are really blasting the build quality, buzz, and poor Samsung support.

Just FYI, most of the negative reviews are of older models (the reviewers probably couldn't find their exact model, so they just reviewed one of the models still available). They don't apply at all to the 2012 model year sets.

I vote ST60 dont waste 1.5k on this old tech


even though i have respect for samsung i think quality japan makes better sets. So for 1500-1600 in a month ST60 will be popping up on amazon. Id jump into this set in a heart beat . Also look into the VT 60 which will blow everything out of the water with its new AR filter
probably talking 2200.00 for the 60"
