buydig falls in to the second tier retailers, bellow adorama, bandh, amazon, etc. No bait and switch in my many dealings with them. just not as good of return policy or customer service, but a solid retailer.
IIRC same deal without some of extras was for 799 with 100 visa gift card or 899 with 200 gift card a while ago. I have nex 5n, and the 6 has improved on the many areas, most importantly inclusion of EVF (I bought separately) and AF speed. It also comes with a better range, and much more compact 16-50 pancake lens. However, the lens optically is only so so. I also believe it no longer has the touchscreen, but I may be wrong on that. Image quality is fantastic. the great implimentation of manual focus with focus peaking and dmf, makes use of legacy lens very easy. additionally, in the autofocus department, the sigma 19 2.8 and 30 2.8, are both excellent, and cheap, as is the more expensive 50 1.8 IS. |

Yeah I would just get the APS-C NEXs. There solid cameras although the system could use more lenses. A fullframe NEX is definitely coming but itll be expensive for a while, and knowing Sony theyll probably develop 4-5 bodies for each lens release. I shoot M43 exclusively right now (OM-D + a few lenses) and probably wont switch till theres a FF mirrorless system with solid lenses which is probably going to take a while to develop. Im hoping Fuji does this instead of Sony though.

+1 on the LCD issue. I have a friend that is into photography. He was getting the 6 while I was having the 5r vs 6 debate. On day 1 he said that the Electronic Viewfinder was a must have. The built in flash is an upgrade too, I don't want to deal with screwing in a flash while trying to take spontaneous shots of my kid. Replied and almost purchased. |

honestly, for spontaneous stuff, I use my smartphone.
even with a point and shoot, I have to go find it. with a interchangable lens camera, I have to find it, make sure the right lens is on, and switch to Auto mode or sit there and make sure all the settings are right. There is nothing worse than finding out the self timer was on and you're holding the camera still for 10 seconds. |

I have a mid leve point and shoot now. (8mp) I does ok but when my wife starts cropping and stretching the photos the quality degrades. I was originally looking into the t3i,t4i but I really like the size and weight of this thing. It can get the 6 for 809 with company discount but this deal tops that by far. |
