Didnt work for me, tried it on an account that previously had 1 year of student prime that ended in January.

I always create account instantly whenever i need one ( free one month trail prime account).
They Charge Sales tax in Texas. Their prices are not as good as they used to be. Other options worth considering are :- Drugstore, Newegg, Buydig, B&hphoto, overstock.com. |

is this offer frequently (or always) available? Debating to do it now or wait until I know I'll be buying more often from Amazon (such as around holidays/heavy birthday season)

On one account I have the free trial.I haven't used this account much. The other is a no go.
