certain models are great. Ever since OCZ got control of their own firmware on some models, like vertex 4 or Vector, I would not trust anything with Sandforce unless it comes from Intel, Corsair.

The controller for this drive is the updated controller from the original vertex drives. Created by Indilinx which OCZ bought. This drive is more reliable than the sandforce drives that made up the bulk of the rest of OCZ drives of the last couple years.
