Los Angeles ONLY - Free Mad Men accessory (wallet, tie, etc.) piece from Banana Republic at the Grove - 2/26 and 2/27 ONLY

This is mindblowingly cool - get a free piece from the upcoming Banana Republic Mad Men collection tomorrow (2/27) only at the Grove in Los Angeles [gap.com]. They're doing a whole promotional thing where you get to select a dress, suit jacket, shirt, pants, belt, etc. and take a photo in it. Stylists do up the women's makeup and style them and take a photo as well. Then you get to keep the piece you selected.

They were doing it today and the lines grew over time, originally they were giving out FULL suits (tie, jacket, pants, belt, shirt) and women's outfits (dress, headband, scarf, etc.) but now it appears they're limiting it to one piece. Still, this is a great deal if you have time to kill.

It starts at noon but the line formed early today, but it was the first day and they were a little overwhelmed. For more details you can call the Banana Republic store at the Grove and maybe they can help. Note that this isn't in the store, it's on the main grass area by the fountain. I just walked away with a full new Banana Republic suite for free!

EDIT: Looks like they're now only giving away an ACCESSORY from the collection such as a wallet, tie, etc. Not really dead because that's still kind cool, but hardly a full dress or suit anymore. If you're there it's probably worth the time. Note that a wallet, tie, belt is around $60+ there so it's still a great deal. If they have the women's handbags those are $100 and really nice.
