Good price for a 32gb note, but $450 is still feels very high for a tablet, regardless of the fact that it has cool s-pen features and it is well-received by many reviewers.

However, this should definitely help someone out if they've been actively looking for the note.

Costco has the 16gb one for $430 + tax, so I think this is a pretty good price.

Meh. At that price, you might as well buy an iPad. Or go lower and get a Nexus 7.

What if you don't want Apple hardware? I'd personally never touch the stuff. Good price, good product.

the biggest aspect of this thats often overlooked is that you can actually multitask (i.e. multiple windows opened) and that the s-pen lets you do actual writing. Writing with the s-pen is like actually writing with a pen. Using a capacitive stylus with the ipad is like trying to write with a marker. If you just want to watch movies and play games, then get an ipad or a N7, but if you want to use this for class or something where you need to take notes and do actual work, unfortunately, the note is your only option. And I say unfortunately because I hate the low resolution of this thing but its the only real option if you need to do any kind of writing/multitasking. Nevertheless, I choose productivity/utility over high res anyday

We sure thought so considering we've been looking for a good price for the 32GB model for almost two weeks...

yes, except we decided my wife didn't want to be STUCK with whatever memory you buy in the iPad, would like to be able to use flash and products NOT licensed through or by Apple....

My wife LOVES her old iPod and initially wanted and iPad but all the negatives and then ONE big positive on the Galaxy Note 10.1 (S Pen) convinced her to go with Samsung. Well, that and our experience with the Galaxy S3!

For this tablet .It's a good price. Been looking for quite a while. Res could be better though. TU.

Just get a nexus 10. It's 399, has 32gb of space and will rip this tablet in half with 4.2.2.
