You just like to be a contrarian then? Seems pretty pointless. I'm pretty much all PC/Android myself, but when it comes to tablets, Android fails all day long.

That said, the Notes do have the kind of tactile control I am interested in, but the rubbish app store kills it for me.

i agree on the app store, it does get frustrating sometimes. Any playstore app, you can find in the app store but there are many apple apps that can't be found in the playstore. Nevertheness, as the share of android users increase, the greater the number of quality apps there will be in the future. That said, everything else just feels so much more superior on android. It used to be that android felt laggy, but with jelly bean, things are just as smooth as ios. I find the UI much better in terms of customization, widgets, notifications, etc on android. The one thing that will make it perfect is if android had lockscreen notifications like ios. Also facetime and imessage is much better than what ever the hell google's using (google REALLY needs to unify their social apps) Other than that, android is a far superior experience than ios IMO. FYI, I have an android tablet and an iphone

I think you'd be amazed at the capabilities of this table with multitasking and stylus functionality. You can hover your cursor on splashtop which is awesome. Other things like the IR blaster are pretty cool too. I could never go back to an iPad. They do stuff very well, but what they can do is very limited compared to the Note 10.1.

Is it just me or does the title say, "Was $449 now $499"? It went up in price and that's slick?

It's not just you. When I posted the deal it was pretty hot at $449. After selling x number of units they raised the price to $499 which is still ok but not nearly as hot.

Was $449 and now $499? I think I'll wait till its $549 😜

I think I'll wait until it has a 2013 worthy resolution. 1280x800 is crap. Unless your eyesight its poor, it makes a big difference.
