Was going to post this last night. Didn't get around to it. Wanted to see some chatter about the reliability and performance of this drive. Seems to be a good price aside from taxes. Newegg is out of stock. Amazon wants over $100.

this is not the extreme, so don't expect extreme speeds

 If you are coming from an HDD, then extreme or non-extreme is still miraculous. At some point you're just shaving a second off load times and for some folks that isn't worth the $$$.

I went with the kingston. Good deal at frys still for those that have them near and can't find the kingston in stock.

And as mentioned above, it's an MLC drive. I'm under the impression there is only one TLC drive on the market and this isn't it. |
