ebay (Targeted Email; YMMV) Get a $20 coupon when you sell $100+ in Electronics, or $50 coupon when you sale $200 in electronics

I was going to scan through the terms to see if there was anything about this, but it seems that eBay has taken down the promotion page, and it isn't on archive.org. The same type of thing happened to me with the value of an eBay Bucks certificate. I don't remember the exact details, but it seems to me the coupon value was restored to my account and I had additional days to use it beyond the normal expiration date. May want to call before making a final decision. Otherwise you can just send it back and commit to bugging the hell out of eBay support until they restore the coupon value.

Actually, the dude doesn't even want it back. He was cool about it. He said he would just refund me. It's not the value of the whole coupon. I ended up buying 4 things to hit $50. Ebay was very clear about even if you used the $50 coupon to buy something worth $1, then the coupon is used. You know, the dude is cool for offering. I think I'll just let it slide and let him keep the money instead of risking ebay getting to keep it.

Something similar happened to me. I bought a tablet and the scammer seller sent me a much much cheaper tablet. I complained and he told me to send it back. I only got refunded the amount that I paid, but I called ebay and explained to them what happened. I had a new coupon for $50 in a couple hours.

Listed a couple phones this morning hoping someone still had some electronics coupons to spend!

You just know on the 7th there'll be someone posting in here "I forgot to use my coupon!" I've taken to listing all my important expiration and renewal dates on a separate google calendar so I never forget.

My coupon, which I practically had to beg them for, doesn't expire until May 25th... so yeah, I'm special.
