It's 16+ round mags that will be banned if the bill passes. Also, CO would require Magpul to stamp the mags with a serial number and date of manufacture so they can enforce the mag ban for CO residents.

Yes, CO would lose about 85mil in tax revenue, not to mention all the employees of Magpul and the employees of Magpul's suppliers in CO.

Yep. Magpul made it clear to the legislature their stance. I figured the threat of loss of revenue & hundreds of jobs might be an influence (even to the Democrats). Evidently not.

Even though I'm going to have to wait longer for my backorder to get fufilled, it's really nice seeing a company stand by its customers and stick it to their legislature.

Disarm at ANY cost. Like people have said before, it's not about gun control, it's about control.

I just read that they are trying to sneak in an "assault rifle" ban as well. That would be any semi-auto rifle, even my little .22 Marlin would be illegal.

I watched that last week. Notice how the rate of fire is a lot faster for the lower capacity mags. If rate of fire was consistent across mags, there would be a 1-2 second increase as the capacity was lowered. Still, the fact that it takes 1-2 seconds to reload is not nearly enough time to escape. Mag limits are pointless.
