The inventory checker does not work on this.
What worked for me was I called my nearest store and gave them the number.
They checked and they had none but checked the other stores within a reasonable radius for me. One store had 4.
Since they were closed (it was close to closing time when I saw this thread) I called this morning. They were able to locate 1 and put it aside for me.
When I got there this morning to pick it up someone was walking out the door with 1 and when I asked they said they did find 1 more which I purchased. There was supposed to be a 4th 1 but as of late this morning they still could not locate it.
These have been hanging around Staples for a while so if inventory shows they have any it is a treasure hunt for them to find them.
Long story short---"let your fingers do the walking" with this one since it is definitely a YMMV on this one. I would also make sure they physically have a unit if they say they do before you go to the store...

It was the one in the financial district on California.

I doubt it, since me and somebody else had called in on Saturday to each put one aside. Give them a call though, they knew exactly what I was talking about when I had called and I said clearance shredder.

Ya no problem. I prob won't post a lot of deals cuz we usually don't have amazing clearance. If anyone in colorado wants to know where they can maybe pick one up I can look it up. I guess I can for anywhere but Idon't wanna put that much effort into it haha.

Honestly, on this one I would call.
I managed to get 2 from 1 store last week but they had a heck of a time finding them.
What worked for me is I called my closest store and they checked the computer.
They had none but told me which store in the area listed 4 in the system. They strongly suggested I call rather than to go and find out they could not find them or no longer had them.
I called the next morning and asked about the 4 and they said they could only find 1. They found 2 more before I got there (that is how I got the second one) and someone else bought the third one. The 4th one was MIA and presumed lost.
Time and gas are too precious and expensive to run around on a "just in case"

I was not sure if I could find one but called one store near me and found it.on the first try. I got this one instead of 8 sheet Omnitech which is on sale this week. Thank you for the info, OP.

I just picked one up in Frazer, PA. There were 3-4 left. They were near the printers/AIOs instead of with the other shredders, and I didn't see one on display - just the plain brown shredder boxes on the shelf.
