I was at Wally World twice last week to buy Platinum and none of the bottles had the forms. They didn't have any at the auto center desk either. |

Since rebate is 10$, I am asuming that when I'll add both oil and filter in my cart, price should be $29.99 but I am seeing $53.98. What am I missing? Also on page 4 there are two different event code (1016323 & 1016324) one shows "$10 rebate on Pennzoil Platinum Synthetic Oil and K&N filter oil change special" and other says "$10 rebate on (5) qts of Pennzoil Platinum Synthetic Motor Oil and a K&N Oil Filter (items must be purchased on same transaction)". Again which one is the correct. BTW I am buying part # 550028525 and part # HP-1003.

Just went and picked up the oil at lunch and submitted the rebate forms online.

There are a lot of claims about MPG improvement. 50% as one poster stated not-with-standing, it seems you can expect a 2% increase in MPG [mnsu.edu]. Is that worth the added price of synthetic without even adding the wear of the car argument? Try a 1% increase on a car that gets 30 mpg on conventional using a 5,000 mile oil change for regular and synthetic. Using a gas price of $3.75 a gallon 1% amounts to $57 per 5000 miles.

That's used for the rebate. 1 code is for the 5 qt jug + filter. The other code is for the 5-1 qt bottles + filter |

Nice. My car is due for an oil change. I'm going to stop by after work and grab this. I prefer synthetic oil. I had used Mobile 1 religiously until the last few years when the price skyrocketed. $8+ a quart is insane!
I drive an older vehicle, 2003 Buick Century with 135,000 miles on it. |
