“The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses." -Malcolm X-
this has the same ppi as a 15.6" monitor with 480x 320 resolution. If you are planning to sit closer than 24 inches, you may want to consider other options.
not sure what you're getting at.. but of course as a screen gets larger the ppi goes down... but then again.. at 1ft the iPhones, iPads etc.. are beyond what the human eye can even distinguish at 20/20 vision. (actually even at 6 inches it more than the eye can see).
at 10"-12" the human eye can distinguish 300ppi at best.
Now if you're 6ft away the maximum your eye can distinguish is approximately somewhere between 80 and 100ppi. Of course assuming you have 20/20 vision. 100pi is sorta the standard when dealing w/ 50" televisions. The bigger they get, you typically more back further to accommodate.
Yeah, Amazon, Best Buy, and Pauls Tv are just a few others that I know are doing it as well. Looks like it expires on Sunday too. I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this right now, but if I can get a tab out of it too, hey why not. I'm still searching, I'll let you guys know what I find.
