Refurbished Epson BrightLink 450Wi & 450W multimedia projector, $199+FS
Update:
It is back again after a 2nd OOS. So do check yourself even if you see it is OOS.
Have been looking around for a really cheap but reliable projector. Do not have a basement (no dark enough room) so home cinema project is not an interest. The projector was still $349 just days ago. Today notice the price dropped to $199. My guess is that the stock is running low, so they wants to clear them asap.
BrightLink 450Wi Interactive Projector - Refurbished
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Stor...317020-1-N
Reg. Price:$799.00
You Save:$600.00 (75%)
Our Price:$199.00
WXGA (1280x800), 2500lumen, 2000:1 contrast (yeh, not a home cinema), 3500hr/2500hr lamp, Short Throw, throw rate: 0.37-0.5
Similarly, PowerLite 450W Multimedia Projector - Refurbished
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Stor...318020-N#3
Almost identical product just don't have interactive pens (correct me if I am wrong)
Bottom line: If you haven't had a projector before and don't watch HD movies all the time, they are good choices to begin with, e.g. play with kids, kinect, online video, and so on. Remember it is only $199 from a trustworthy manufacturer which always send refurbished with a new bulb as far as I have read.

For whose need a cheap projector but missed this, here are two alternative one that I think good as well:
1. PowerLite 410W Multimedia Projector - Refurbished, $199
WXGA, 2000lumen, 500:1, 4000hr lamp, short throw, 0.48-0.66 throw ratio
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Stor...d=63088266
This one is also OK.
2. EX100 Multimedia Projector, $249,
XGA, 2700lumen, 400:1 (yeh, even worse but enough for office use), 3000/2000hr lamp, 3.5lb weight, throw ratio 1.46-2.39

Again, make sure what's your purpose of the projector. If you are looking for a HD projector, you are in the wrong thread. Something like Epson 8350 might be more suitable and, of course, the money is also different.
