I bought the 55LM8600 from Paul's and I did notice some bleeding, but does not bother me at all. All Edge lit TV's have the same issue including Samsung etc ( see sa,sumg customer pics on amazon)

When last year I bought the 47LM7600 from amazon, it was DoA 1st time and dent the 2nd time. so good luck with shipping.

How well are the LG's with removing the soap opera effect? Is it as easy as turning off tru motion? I've gotten used it it but wondering so I can decide which one I would prefer to view

Yes, you can swtich that off to correct it. But I never had this issue with 47LM6200.

Your 6200 does NOT actually have 120Hz Trumotion. Your panel is actually a 60Hz panel. HDGuru discovered this lie from LG in the 6700 model line & it affects the 6200 & the G2s as well. They are NOT capable of 120Hz instead LG attempt to do a Black Frame Insertion. However the LED arrays in these mid-level & lower level tvs is not capable of actually producing a black frame all at once anyway so it really did nothing to help.
So the reason you don't see soap opera affect in the 6200 is because it's not capable of producing it locked at 60Hz. LG lied!
Many people complained and in order to unfortunately fool & cover up the lie they "added" a Tru-motion setting in the 6700 and one or two other lines, I can't remember if the 6200 also received that fake setting option or not.

Doesn't mean the 6700 or 6200 are bad TVs or that they don't have good PQ, and a lot of people don't even like the 120Hz options and leave it off. But if they advertise & say a TV panel is 120Hz Tru-motion and it physically is a 60Hz only panel that's WRONG!
I'm on a mission to not let LGs deceit and lies to their customers go by quietly.
I love my LG 32LD550 and am seriously considering a 7600 or 8600.

In the models that actually are 120Hz capable like the 7600 & 8600 etc you can turn off the anti-judder anti-blur tru-motion settings.
