I'll probably get a lot of flac for this, but how does this stack up against a reference 670? I'm at work and wouldn't get to doing some research until tomorrow.

since this 660 is overclocked, it performs similar to a factory 660ti... the ti will still have an advantage in shader intensive games while the 660 should match or even beat the ti in mem bandwidth intensive games. this is actually a very good deal since a 660ti is still at least $250 on sale while a much faster 670 is at least $325 |

a have a regular 660 (msi twin frozr 3) and it handles everything at 1200p for me as well at all HIGH/MAX settings... bf3, witcher, skyrim, whatever... so from my experience if you are playing at 1080p/1200p its not worth the $50-75 extra for the ti.. if i was playing on a 27" screen, id rather save the extra $100-125 for the 670 |
