Not once did he present an actual budget to Congress that his own party would support. Not once did he send a bill to Congress to substitute for the sequester. Rather, his staff planned campaign rallies these last several months to lie to us, first, about the GOP being responsible for the sequester, and then assuring us he would veto any substitute for it, and then talking about what he thought we should without actually sending proposed legislation. He is a liar. It is that simple. And you're now defending the indefensible. Campaign-style speeches, SOTU speeches...it's all rhetoric. I can't believe you're so blind to this. |

I am observing facts. Are you really going to argue that Obama's budgets were not overwhelmingly rejected not just by Republicans, but also the Democrats? Are you sure? Are you going to argue that Obama actually sent a substitute budget to Congress to replace the sequester? Are you sure? Are you going to argue that the GOP House did not present and pass two specific budgets the replace the sequester? Are you sure? Your boy proposed the sequester, then lied about it multiple times. Your boy declared that he'd veto any effort to replace it. And ain't that interesting given the gloom-and-doom tour he's been on this week? Your boy said this was the Republican's fault. This is the picture of intellectual dishonesty... |

Obama does not control what is passed by the Senate as you pointed out. |

Great, so he made a single proposal...why didn't he submit a bill? Why didn't he get Harry Reid to bring a bill to the floor? Nonetheless, the point is not that he made a proposal in negotiations. The point is that he is a LIAR. He wanted the sequester, he threatened to veto anything that would replace it, and then proceeded to condemn Republicans for doom and gloom that won;t even happen. And you condone this...you happily defend him. This is unbelievable... |
