No, I borrowed a disc. No need to purchase as there is a full legal copy associated with the laptop itself.

Unfortunately there is no direct way to get a copy without purchasing. Of course a friend with a Windows 8 install disc helps in this case.

Was thinking about incase 11.6" for MacBook Air but I couldn't be sure about the size and also mouse/power adapter would have been left out in that case. Pulled the trigger on the black roocase.

They sent the correct size and color. There is an extra inch in width with this one as well. I removed the card holder immediately as I am sure it would scratch the laptop. Not really smelly overall I am certainly happy for now.
