my Asus EEE PC dies just after 1 year, cant claim warranty on the damn thing too..while our dell, lenovo and sony running fine from 3-7 years.. so.. i guess we get what we pay for..

Amazon has the dark grey for $424 right now, pink for $438.81.

Anyone know if the champagne is more silvery or more golden? Hard to tell from online pictures how close it is to the interior brushed aluminum.

I have been eyeballing these for a while. This would be a nice portable laptop for the money. If I needed one badly, I would jump on it. My thought is to wait for the next gen of Intel CPUs with HD4600 graphics. The will be here soon. That's when things should get interesting.

I dont think so since after taxes it would be around $445 from staples, and I dont think not that the one from Staples was the one with =bluetooth enabled, sure you got a free external dvd - but buying from BHPhoto - its tax free in most states - so its still only $420 - and its the bluetooth model and dual band wifi according to some one on the wifi spec - as far as the extrenal dvd - you can pick up one for around $15 these days - so to conclude it - this is a better deal by a nice margin both spec and price wise from the one on staples.
Neweggg had it for $399 - which made it even a better deal than any other place so far.
