Super hard to beat Amazon Prime shipping tho! For $5 bucks difference in price I'd go all day long with Amazon cause of next day delivery!

Sweet, I needed pads for my commuter car. Total is $46 for front and rear for my car with free prime shipping - $30 rebate. $16 for all 4 corners and a decent brand is killer! I'll definitely use the online rebate form. Repps! Funny thing, Rockauto for me is the exact same price (with 5% discount and $11 shipping). So I'll just go with the Amazon... This is the same rebate that is listed on Rockauto...minus the professional installation option. they're the best IMHO as far as purchasing automotive parts. Fast shipping and cheap prices.

Rockauto has tax and shipping amazon has neither I'm not sure why there is a comparison..

Buy a better brand! Labor is the factor here, so buy one that would last longer! I have akebonos' on my car! Super quiet and no black dust on the wheels. Got over 30,000 miles from my last set! well worth the $$$

There is just no way I could call paying someone to do something as simple as brake bads on disc brakes a slick deal. It's probably worth paying somone to rebuild your calipers if you're uncomfortable doing it yourself, but pads are n00b-friendly.

the part I get is the Wagner QC831 ThermoQuiet Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set.

Full cermaic pads aren't reccomended in high horsepower modified cars with stock or near stock calipers and rotors. Semi metallic gives off more dust and wear out faster, but that's because they actually grab harder. |

YES!! Definitely, unless Advanced Auto is running some sort of super sale. I paid just under $95 for my current set of ThermoQuiets from Advanced Auto. I just bought another set (Front & Rear Complete) for $33 after the rebate.. |
