You can't argue with closed minds. Name one musician today that people will still be talking about 40+ years from now. If all those people didn't exist there would be no rock today. And ever listen to the lyrics of some of these?
Sheesh, the world is in worse shape than I thought! Talk about low info voters!
I can understand the thumbs down for reposting, but for "not a good price"?
These albums cost the same as a latte. Most of the greatest hits have 15+ tracks, which comes out to 20¢ a song.
Whadaya want, free?
Some people still like to get/pay for their music legally- plus instantly thrown in your cloud to boot.
First, I am a bob dylan fanatic and to say he can't sing is just not right. I would say that the thing with dylan is that he sings with no finesse that traditional good singers use in spades. But he does hit all the notes, and has a great delivery and actually a great, strong voice. Sometimes he was a little heavy handed on his whine style in 65-66, but overall as dylan once sang - his voice is like a last pistol shot baby. His mid-80's voice became cartoon like and was pretty bad though.
Neil Young, Bob Dylan good? Could it have just been the drugs kicking in? I mean, maybe there are few exceptions but weren't almost all their fans were stoners? Janis Joplin is another one, if not for stoners she'd been a zero.
