Huh. The trade-in values don't actually look downright horrible.

Staples appears to also carry the Surface. Combo it with the 5% back from a Chase Ink card and it's a pretty good deal, assuming you were in the market for one to begin with.

with all due respect, to get the laptop for cheap one has to be a member of the privileged and rich few that get chase cards?...not everyone carries a chase ink card...its no discover!

can we trade-in multiple items towards a single purchase?

Somewhat ambiguous as to if it's referring to "device" as the purchased item, or the item traded in (like if you wanted 3x100$ cards) though. I suspect it's the former.

If I send in my laptop, and it doesn't qualify for some reason, will they send it back?

Qualifying trade-in devices over 4 years old are eligible for a $100 prepaid card,

However as you wish to trade in a Macbook of a similar age which is not listed as qualifying trade in list I cannot guarantee the trade in amount you will receive.

This could estimate between $100-$400.

This understandably is not a solid estimate, however If you wish to participate in this promotion you may receive a revised valuation as determined by Recycler by email. If the lesser value of the prepaid card is not acceptable to you, you may request return of your traded in device.

Best buy is already discounting $100 for any touchscreen computer (except surface) without any trade in. No point trading in an old laptop for $100 . Might as well just buy from BB and sell the laptop on CL.
