I was needing a new fertilizer spreader, am going to pick one up tomorrow. I've checked prices on Scott's spreaders before and have never seen them at this price. Now need to make a trip to Menards to get some fertilizer.

Sorry, this coupon program has ended

My local Walmart had them for $29.96. i grabbed 3 but it was a hassle checking out. They were reluctant to take the coupons, cashier called the assistant manager. The assistant manager then she tried to give me a Bogus BS story about Store policy.
Keep in mind when it comes to Walmart i know the Coupon policy by heart, So calm as a cucumber very softly i call her in on her BS store policy story .

She then directed me to the Store Manager. The Store Manager also came out and gave me a different another BS story. "We been getting some counterfeit coupons lately" Bla bla bla.

i pointed out you cannot come out and make your own store policy as you go along. You must follow corporate policy.

Manager looked at the coupon up and down, tried anything to refuse the coupon and after realizing he couldn't win he then tells the cashier "everything checks out & my hands are tied, i have no choice but to honor theses coupons".

Paid $4.96 each plus Tax

For those who still have coupons and haven't had luck at Lowes, Home Depot now has it for the same price and they tend to be more receptive to manufacturer coupons. Cheers!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't these Scotts spreaders Free last year with purchase of 1 or 2 Snap bags?

I got mine today at Home Depot, because the sales clerk at Lowes didn't know how to enter the coupon! And then her supervisor wasn't any better....said it was a rebate and not a coupon. So I just kindly said okay thank you...and went to Home Depot with no problems and I also used my military discount! Win for me!

Ok I got mine at Lowe's with my military discount without any problem but I went to use it today and it isn't working very good. The hole for the weed and feed to pour out of the bag isn't very big so no w-n-f is falling down to get spread. No wonder they are on a give away sale.

Edit: After reading alot of reviews this seems to be a rare problem so I will see if Lowe's will exchange for another bag.

You guys Suck...talking about fertilizing already, it's 27 here and lots of snow on the ground. Brrr

I would yell and scream at this point, because the spreader is on the front page of their new flyer and they are running sales on scott fertilzer and claiming they are an authorized scott dealer
