ummmmm, I wonder how everyone is doing with your rebate -

1. What counts as a sales receipt? The order confirmation email, the packing slip, the invoice email, the delivery notice email, or the print-out from order history under NewEgg account?

2. UPC must be TAPED to the box area on the rebate form!? Well, the UPC is really part of the plastic bag. Do you cut out a piece of the plastic bag, or you carefully detach the UPC label from the plastic bag, and then how do you TAPE it to the rebate form?

3. Oh, one more thing, if you are doing both the 6ft and 15ft rebates. Do you submit them in one single envelope or you submit them separately? I guess it is safer to do them separately with one extra stamp cost.

It is quite an adventure just to claim the rebate nowadays. Help! Thanks.

1) 99% of the time, use your Invoice for rebates. This is true for Newegg and Tigerdirect.
2) I first peeled the sticker off the bag for one of them. For the other, I literally cut the bag around the UPC code. Then I used packaging tape to secure the UPC code into the box. With packaging tape, they can't peel the UPC code off without leaving a mark on the paper. Not like I'd think they'd do that, but it helps with peace of mind.
3) They are two different rebate offers. Submit in different envelops with different forms to different addresses (well, I think same address but different offer number).

My mail with USPS got returned by the post office with a stamp that says Postage Due $1.61.
I have no idea how they come up with this. The letter weighs 0.9oz.

Does anyone have any idea? I am wondering if they are saying that because of the thickness. It is not excessively thick, but I put it in a small envelope, not a long one.
