Monitor was delivered an hour ago, it took me all of 10minutes to attach it to my existing Ergotron LX mount.
My setup is as follows - see attached pictures. IBM Thinkpad T410 with the lid closed on a docking station driving this via displayport and another 24inch Dell monitor via the DVI port. Using a Logitech bluetooth keyboard and the Nano mouse. I am also using 2 Ergotron LX wall mounts to float the monitors in front of me. I love the setup. The picture quality and resolution on the 27inch is astounding. I love the resolution on this monitor at the max. Absolutely no dead pixels. Picture is steady and clear as a millpond. Totally worth $533.50 ($550 - 1% (cash back)- 2%(credit card rebate) I paid for it. Last edited by bob19740; 03-06-2013 at 01:49 PM.. |

I wrote a long message that I received this monitor an and posted with pictures of my setup and someome probably the mods deleted it.
It totally sucks that these guys are out censoring our posts. I am starting to hate slickdeals now. The only mistake I made was posting that I saved some money by going through cashback site.. so the price I paid was $535 ($550 minus 1% cashback minus 2% credit card rebate) |

I was hoping to hook this up to a macbook pro retina, but can't seem to EASILY find a minidisplay port to displayport adaptor, order only.
anyway, if anyone missed this deal, Dell has it now for this price http://accessories.ap. |

Got mine yesterday. It looks great and works even better.
I didn't see any dead pixels and back/yellow light bleeding isn't noticeable... That said, I am not picky and I have no plan to run any extensive test. If it appears to be good, that's good enough for me. |

Got mine now hooked up with mini display, ordered one from AMZN last night, came this AM!
Anyway, running at full resolution, I'm wondering what is the best way to TEST things? I've looked for dead pixels, run solid color backgrounds, text is PRETTY sharp, obviously not as much as my retina macbook pro beside it, but it can't be that good. But, how to tell if sharpness and detail is where it needs t be? |

Can anyone give some advice on this monitor? It's working pretty fine, but I've been having some random artifacts appearing which I'm not sure if it's due to the monitor or my graphics card.
Link to screenshot showing artifacts here http://i45.tinypic.com/as1zr.png . Pretty much black blocks where my mouse can appear over the blocks. My mouse cursor can go over the black areas and show up overlaying the black areas. The black blocks aren't refreshed until I change the entire background by changing windows etc. Everything was fine with my old monitor. I have a HIS ATI Radeon 7870. Thanks! |
