Thread Details

Has anyone seen this Lowes Realtor Benefits website [lowesrealtorbenefits.com]? You can sign up and send out free Lowes Coupons and buy gift cards at 5% off. It asks for a NRDS # at sign up.

I went to the lookup feature and entered info for my realtor and it gave me a number--but I didn't sign up.. I'm not sure if one can just enter bogus info and sign up. Anyone want to try? If you're not a National Association of Realtors member, use at your own risk.

If you are really a Realtor, aren't you already sending these to your clients? This has been around for years. Nothing new here. But you must enter a valid address. It takes several days for the discount email to arrive. My clients report that they use the coupons multiple times.

Not sure what happens .. wouldn't want to be accused of identity theft if I have to pretend to be a particular member when I sign up.

Sorry ... not a real estate agent. I'm a Profession Engineer. I've thought about getting my real estate license though (to buy/sell more investment property). Not that this website would even factor into the decision. lol

Im a broker and use this website. You can send your clients coupons that are usually good for 30-45 days and are for 10% off anything in the store with a $500 max discount. They have a barcode on the coupons that the cashier scans and deactivates and can only be used 1 time. You can resend every 6months. Brokers may also purchase lowes gift cards on this site for 5% discount. You can not purchase these in the store and must wait to receive. They did verify my information when i enrolledyears ago.

I have been using the service for years also. I do both the coupons to clients + I purchase the 5% off gift cards + cashback from online sites.

This site used to offer foreclosure coupons that can be printed out instantly. though it was removed last year. Like the other guy said, this site still let you send coupons to clients but coupons does takes 3 to 5 days to process.

Honestly, the slickest deal is not to forge someone else's identity or to pretend to be a Realtor or go take 30-50 hours, classes, courses, licensing and pay your Realtor dues, the slickest deal is to ask your Realtor that you use to sign you up and Lowes will send you the coupons for free and its automated. The coupons come branded with your Realtors face and the idea is that you will use her/him some day.

So why go through the hassle when someone else will do it all for you and for free? I'm TD this deal, because it isnt really a deal.
