MOH Warfighter sucks bad. Single player is forgettable and boring. Multiplayer was half finished when it first came out and was active for a few weeks but now the servers are dead. I have not seen such a hugely promoted game drop off so fast. That certainly says something.
Even though it's built off Frostbite 2, there's no destruction. It doesn't help that there are stupid gameplay decisions like in combat mission, if you're at the front lines when they take the objective you get stuck out of bounds and die. They force you to retreat which prevents the defenders from pushing back. |

Even at $3, Postal 3 doesn't look like a compelling deal. You know there must be something wrong when the game's aggregate score is 24 [metacritic.com], based on 20 reviews. To put that in perspective, this game places in the bottom 0.5 percentile, meaning that 99.5% of PC games have been considered better by reviewers. Practically any other game would be a better option to spend your money on, especially when you consider that most good games go on sale for five to ten dollars within a year or two of their release. Just about everyone seems to agree that Postal 3 is extremely buggy and crash-prone, and not even fun. Going by the user reviews, even most fans of Postal 2, which had a 50 Metascore, seem to hate it. The game wasn't even made by the developers of the Postal series, but instead outsourced to a Russian company, and the series' developers have since removed the game from their online store and told people they shouldn't buy it.
Medal of Honor Warfighter also received somewhat poor reviews [metacritic.com]. At least, they're poor enough that you probably shouldn't be in any hurry to play it, and if you really want to do so, you can probably wait for it to drop below $5, which shouldn't take long. Alan Wake is probably the only game considered to be good here. The rest might be priced lower than what they usually sell for, but if they're not good games, that's not much incentive to buy them. |
